Heritage Birds

Besides are ( Red Wattle Hogs) we raise White Holland's turkeys and Buff Orpingtons chickens and White Orpingtons chickens and Turkens - Naked Necks chickens and are Mustangs . are chickens lay big brown eggs and are great mommys . they even hatched some of are turkey eggs when the big girls lay to many to set on .

I used to have the midget white turkeys but they were not very "user friendly"...since I don't use chemical medications, it didn't help that they kept getting every turkey sickness known. I have switched to Sweetgrass as well as my Bourbon Reds. These seem to be much more disease resistant on pasture. I also have Dexter cattle, Muscovey ducks, Buff ducks, American Buff and mixed breed geese, Delaware and Buckeye chickens, goats and various rabbits. I love them all but my Red Wattles are still my favorite critters!

White Holland Turkey are good too
